JACKSON, Miss. | Jackson State men and women's tennis opens the fall portion of the season hosting the JSU Tiger Invite at the JSU Tennis Center on Sept. 11-12.

Both teams will begin doubles play Friday at 9 a.m., followed by women's singles at 10 a.m. and men's singles at 11:30 a.m. The tournament will feature a round-robin format, with both the men's and women's doubles competitions divided into four flights each and singles competition divided into eight flights.

Notes 

• The men's team features eight athletes, including four returners and four newcomers.
• The women's team also features eight athletes, including seven returners and one newcomer.
• Competing teams: Alcorn State, Co-Lin, Dillard, Mississippi Christian
