JACKSON, MISS - The Jackson State men's and women's tennis teams defeated Mississippi College Monday afternoon at the JSU Tennis Courts. 

The Lady Tigers won 6-1 and the Tigers won 4-3. 

"Great effort from both teams. Our teams are pretty young so it was great to see them in action in a dual setting and  to see how much they've  grown in the short amount of time and what we need to continue working on heading into the end of Fall play", head coach Gabrielle Moore said.

JSU men's and women's tennis will return to action Monday, November 1 at the UNO Invitational In New Orleans.
