JACKSON, Miss.| Junior outside hitter, Alexis Williams, has been tabbed Offensive Player of the Week the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) announced Wednesday.

Alexis Williams had an outstanding performance at the SWAC Eastern Division Cluster opening the weekend with 10 kills and two aces in JSU's 3-0 win over Southern University. She continued to lead the Tigers' offense against Texas Southern with 17 kills and three blocks. Williams closed out the cluster posting her 10th double-double of the season in the Tigers' 3-0 win against Alcorn State on Monday.

Williams is currently ranked fourth in the conference in kills (203), aces (22) and points (232).

Bethune-Cookman's Adriana Marrero and Alisha Callender were named Defensive Player and Setter of the Week. Brook Adams of Alabama State was tabbed SWAC Newcomer of the Week.
