The accolades continue to roll in for Jayden James as the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) proudly to announced its 44th annual All-America teams for NCAA Division I women's volleyball on Wednesday.
The 2025 list includes 42 players—14 on the first, second, and third teams—from 24 schools, and 57 players receive honorable mention honors.
Among the list of players is Jackson State senior outside hitter Jayden James. James, who was tabbed SWAC Player of the Year at the conclusion of the 2025 regular season also earned AVCA All-Region, South Region Honorable Mention honors. She finished the season nationally ranked in multiple categories and leading the SWAC in a few more. Her statistics and accolades include:
#73 in the NCAA for Total Kills (359)
#62 in the NCAA for Kills per set (3.99)
#58 in the NCAA for Total Points Scored (412.0)
#54 in the NCAA for Points Per Set (4.58)
#72 in the NCAA for Aces per set (0.41)
#85 in the NCAA for Total Service Aces (37)
12 Double-doubles so far this season
#1 in the conference in overall points scored and points per set
#1 in the conference in overall kills and kills per set
#2 in the conference in service aces
