TUSCALOOSA, Ala.| The Jackson State University men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Crimson Classic by the University of Alabama.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-Marquentin Barnes finished in 81st place with a time of 26:14.4
-Tyler Duncan followed in right behind him in 82nd place with a time of 26.15.2
-Jallah Galimah came in 88th recording a time of 26:35.2
-Raekwon Hopkins registered a time of 28:02.5 placing 108th.
-Jeremiah Hudson competed the race with a time of 28:23.0
-Jackson Tyler came across the the finish the line with a time of 29.25.1
- In the women's 6k, Joan Kiplagat placed 141 with a finishing time of 14.23.4
-Daeja Davis landed 152nd with a time of 25.36.5
-Amara Hawkins-Quinones finished 162nd with a time of 26.23.6
-Taylor Watkins registered a time of 28.01.1.
-Shalis Tresvant came in 170th with a time of 28.18.4.
-Jalecia Johnson completed the race with a time of 34.27.3.
UP NEXT
The men's and women's wil travel to Tallahassee, Fla. to compete in the SWAC championship. The meet will begin at 8am.
