The Jackson State University bowling team will open the fall portion of the 2022-23 season at the Florida A&M Invitational this Friday – Sunday in Pensacola, Fla.
In addition to competing against the host Rattlers, JSU will compete against familiar Southwestern Athletic Conference foes Alabama State, Grambling, Southern, and Texas Southern. Emanuel College and Tulane University round out the field.
"The ladies are excited and looking forward to this weekend's competition," said Jackson State head bowling coach
Dr. Michael Boykins. "We enter this competition with high energy and expectations, as we've previously won this event and as well as finished as runners-up."
Friday will feature the Baker format, with Saturday's format being five-person team games. Both days will lead to qualifying for Sunday's bracket finals.
