MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Jackson State University bowling team finished fourth in the eight-team ISTAP Tournament hosted by Alabama State.
 
In day two of the event, Marianna Viveros led Jackson State with the sixth-highest score with a 183.8 average in the five-game traditional format, including a high score of 231.
 
Jackson State posted a 6-4 record in the first two days of competition prior to Sunday's final round. The Lady Tigers improved from its fifth-place standing to move up into the top half of the finishers on the final day.
 
Jackson State will return to action in the SWAC West Round January 13-15, 2023 in D'Iberville, Miss.
