Men's Basketball Set to Open Its Season Against Abilene

Abilene, TX. - Jackson State men's Head Coach Mo Williams will make his coaching debut for the Tigers against Abilene Christian.

Abilene advanced to the semifinals of the Collegiate Basketball Invitational against Middle Tennessee. The Wildcats ended the 2021-2022 campaign leading the nation in three defensive categories. 

Jackson State and Abilene Christian will meet for the first time in program history. 

The Tigers finished 11-19 overall and 9-10  in the SWAC last season.  The 2021 campaign ended against Texas Southern in the conference tournament. 

Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m. CST at the Moody Coliseum and will be broadcasted on ESPN+.
