The Jackson State University Lady Tigers won their seventh straight tennis match with a commanding 7-0 non-conference victory over Dillard University here at the JSU Tennis Center on Friday.

The JSU men's team, meanwhile, defeated Dillard 4-3, their third consecutive win.

Jackson State's dual wins upped the Lady Tigers' record to 10-4, while the men now stand at 5-5.

In women's singles, JSU's
Sherine Salem,
Tyra-Nicole Whyte,
Natalya Ogunwale and
Daniela Ramos all won their singles matches. Salem defeated Dillard's Prerana Koirala 6-1, 6-1, Whyte defeated Kaavya Palani 6-0, 6-1, Ogunwale defeated Hafsa Sanhaji 6-4, 6-4, and Ramos defeated Kayla Hennigan 6-0, 6-0.

The doubles competition saw JSU's Salem/Whyte defeat Koirala/Sanhaji 6-1, and
Paula Arcarons/Ramos defeat Palani/Hennigan 6-1.

The JSU men won three of their four singles matches, the wins coming with
Francisco Vargas beating DU's Onichtchenko 6-3, 6-1, Richy Gamu beating Boria Aguma 6-0, 6-4, and
Agustin Agosto beating Felix Hamp 6-2, 6-1.

The Tigers duo of J. Soria/Agosto defeated DU's Youssef Berrajah/Aguma 6-2 and Vargas/Gamo defeated DU's Hamp/Onichtchenko 7-6, 7-4.
