CLINTON, Miss. - The Jackson State men's and women's cross country teams began the season Friday at the Mississippi College Meet.
Despite competing with a limited roster, the defending SWAC Champion JSU men took three of the top 15 finishes in the meet.
Senior
Jallah Galimah took the ninth place with his time of 16 minutes,13.53 seconds. Sophomore
Brian Koringo finished 12th with a time of 16:17.9. Senior
Tyler Duncan finished 14th with a time of 16:23.08. Sophomore
Jeremiah Hudson finish with a time of 17.41.15.
Sophomore Joan Kiplagat was the lone Tiger competing for the women, finishing with a time of 21:25.20.
Both Cross Country teams will compete again at the Warhawk Invitational at Louisiana Monroe on Sept. 17th.
