JONESBORO, Ark. – The Jackson State bowling team posted its fifth win over a nationally Top 25 team Friday on day one of the Arkansas State Tournament.
JSU downed #20 Wisconsin-Whitewater 927-887 to cap a 2-2 day. The Lady Tigers lost to Kentucky Wesleyan 938-821 and #3 Nebraska 1021-965 before rallying with two victories.
Jackson State downed SWAC foe Alabama A&M 883-855 before beating WW to end the day.
The Jackson State women posted four wins over nationally-ranked teams during the fall, with victories over then- No. 4 Sam Houston St., No. 17 Tulane twice, and No. 24 Lincoln Memorial.
The Lady Tigers return to action Saturday at 9 a.m., with matches streamed on the Arkansas State Bowling YouTube page.
