2023 swac tennis postseason

Jackson State Men's and Women Tennis Land Four on All-SWAC Postseason Teams

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.| Jackson State landed four Tigers on the All-Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Men's and Women's Tennis postseason teams the conference announced Thursday evening.

Daniela Ramos was named singles position four second team on the women's side.

For the men, Raul Centeno was tabbed singles position two second team, while Richy Gamo was named to singles position four second team and Carlos Castillo landed singles position six second team.

Jackson State's men's and women's tennis teams both finished second in the SWAC regular season to claim the No. 2 seed entering the conference tournament.

The 2023 SWAC Tennis Tournament will begin Friday at City Park Tennis Center in New Orleans, La. The JSU women's tennis team will take on the winner of match two Saturday at 9 a.m. The Tigers' men's tennis team will take on the winner of match two Saturday at 1 p.m.
