JACKSON, Miss. | Jackson State closed out Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) play with a 4-1 victory over Alcorn State on the road Saturday afternoon.
Jackson State (5-11, 4-2 SWAC) picked up the doubles point with a 6-3 victory at No. 1 by the team of
Raul Centeno and
Carlos Castillo. They were able to pick up three singles victories at No. 4 with a win by
Gokalp Ayar (6-1, 6-2) and at No. 5 by
Carlos Castillo (6-5, 7-5) to clinch the win.
