Jackson State (13-7, 8-1 SWAC) picked up the doubles point after a 6-1 victory at No. 1 doubles by
Zeina Shaaban and
Tyra-Nicole Whyte 6-1. They picked up the win with three wins in singles play including a pair of straight-set victories by
Paula Corbalan at No. 3 singles (6-0, 6-30 and
Zofia Dziewiecka at No. 4 singles (6-0, 6-2).
