BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Godfrey Kimutai was named Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Runner of the Week by the SWAC office on Tuesday afternoon, after his performance in the 8k at the Watson Ford Invitational.

Kimutai recorded a new personal record, finishing in third place with a time of 24:37.10. This top-three finish is the fourth one of the season for him.
