FLORENCE, Ala. | The Lady Tigers fell to the North Alabama Lions in Florence on Saturday afternoon, despite winning the doubles point.
Jackson State (1-5) won the doubles point courtesy of a 6-4 decision by the duo of Paula Corbalan and Zeina Shaaban and a 7-6 nail bitter decision for Zofia Dziewiecka and Daniella Tovar. The Lions began to gain the upper hand during singles competition.
Freshman Kayleigh Didderiens dropped a 6-4, 6-1 decision after a hard-fought first set, while Shaaban dropped a 6-3, 6-2 decision at number two.
