JACKSON, Ms. | Jackson State suffered its second loss of the season on Friday against Mississippi College.
Paula Corbalan rallied back from an early 7-6 defeat in the first set, winning the next set 6-2. Despite the momentum being in her favor, Corbalan would fall for a narrow loss to Emma Roberts.

Isabela Benavides made her opponent, Alizee Ripolles, earn the victory after trading wins in the first two sets 2-6, 7-6. Benavides fell in the final round with a finish of 12-10.
