STARKVILLE, Miss. | The Jackson State track and field team collected 11 top-five finishes at Bulldog Relays on Friday and Saturday at the Mike Sanders Track Complex. Senior Ledamian Rowell took first place in triple jump. 

Rowell, the SWAC's (Southwestern Athletic Conference) Most Outstanding Field Performer for Indoor season, recorded a weekend's best of 14.92 meters in his fifth attempt. He also recorded a fifth-place finish in long jump. 

Fellow senior Javon Gray came in second only to Rowell in triple jump with a leap of 14.70 meters. Terrell Dixon had a PR in high jump for a second-place finish at 2.05 meters. Elijah Blige rounded out the top-10 finishes for the Tigers' male field events with a seventh-place finish in discus. 

The Tigers had three second-place performances on the track with Godfrey Kimutai, Tyjah Edwards, and Fabian Campbell all recording personal records over the weekend. Kimuati clocked in at 3:59.96 in the 1500-meter race, while Fabian Campbell finished at 1:51.01 in the 800-meter run. Edwards established a time of 47.20 in the 400. 

Senior Lilliann Dudley cracked the top three in shot put with a third-place effort, her second top-three finish of the season after finishing third in the hammer throw at the MC Spring Classic. 

Dominic Turner and Jaden Dix also claimed top-five finishes in Starkville, with Turner earning fourth place in the 800 and Dix securing fifth place in the 400. Tramani Osley recorded a PR in long jump with a leap of 5.48 meters on her first attempt.
