Box Score JACKSON, Miss. | The Tigers fell to Mississippi College in their home opener on Monday afternoon, despite winning the doubles point.

The duo of Ching Chang Chiu and Chen Hung-Yu defeated their opponents 6-3, while Fabrizio Fallas and Gokalp Ayar outlasted their opponents 7-5 to give the Tigers the doubles point.

Hung-Yu and Chiu battled in tough singles matches but eventually fell in 3-6, 7-6 (5) and  6-4, 7-5, respective defeats.

The Tigers continue their home stand with matches against North Alabama and Co-Lin on Friday afternoon at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., respectively.
