Montgomery, Ala. - In the final day of competition in Alabama State's 2019 Hornet Classic, the Lady Tigers knocked down the pins to take first place.
The Lady Tigers finished the competition 12-1.
"I am very proud of the ladies' maturity," Head coach Dr. Michael Boykins said. "The ladies had a mission, and it came to reality when they demonstrated a great deal of collective athleticism."
The Lady Tigers rolled past Southern University, 4-2, to knock the pins down against Alabama State, 4-2. In the final round, the ladies' switched lanes to keep the ball rolling against Florida A&M, 4-1, for the win.
