BATON ROUGE, La. -- Jackson State's women's tennis fell to Alabama State, 4-0 Saturday afternoon on the University Courts.
 
Singles

1. Luca Solis (JSU) and Reka Szentes (ASU) tiebreaker was left unfinished. Szentes def. Solis in the first match, 6-3. Solis def. Szentes in the second match, 4-3.
2. Maria Popova (ASU) def. Oni Jones (JSU) 6-0 and 2-6.
3. Lea Krajcovicova (ASU) def. Nina Zhang (JSU) 6-1 and 6-3.
4. Gabriela Lackova (ASU) def. Maria Martinez (JSU) 6-4 and 6-2.
5. Lily Zhang (JSU) and Worthy Goldman (ASU) match was left unfinished. Zhang def. Goldman in the first match, 6-3. The second match was cut short due to rain.
6. Urska Velec (ASU) def. Ariel Dickson (JSU) 6-4 and 6-2.

 
Doubles were cancelled due to rain.
 
JSU is in action Sunday vs. LSU and Grambling State.
