Last Time Out: On Saturday, Grambling State pulled away in the fourth quarter as they handed TSU a 68-47 loss Saturday evening at home. Grambling State opened with an early lead but TSU fought back in the second quarter and finally regained a 23-21 lead with 1:59 remaining after Namiko Adams' layup. However, Grambling State closed the half on a 7-3 run for a 28-24 halftime lead. TSU would play catchup for most of the third quarter and had moments to move ahead but failed to get over the hump. TSU trailed 34-31 with 6:08 left but Grambling State eventually pushed its lead up and ended the third quarter up 45-38. GSU opened the fourth quarter with a three-pointer and TSU answered with a basket from Ryann Lewis to close within eight.  Unfortunately, that would be the closest TSU would get as GSU went on a late run to push its lead to double digits. Adams led TSU with 11 points and nine rebounds while Quatera Limbrick added 10.
