JACKSON, MISS. —  The Jackson State women's volleyball team will host the SWAC Volleyball Eastern Cluster One on Saturday and Sunday in the Lee E. Williams Athletic and Assembly Center. The Cluster will feature ten matches and six teams.

The Tigers will begin the weekend with a 9 a.m. match against Texas Southern, who sits at the top of the division with a record of 4-13 and an undefeated SWAC record of 3-0.  They will then come back for a 7 p.m.  match against UAPB (4-13, 3-0). The Lions are currently on a four-game win streak. On Sunday, Jackson State will wrap up the Cluster with a match against Grambling State (5-8, 2-1) that is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. 

Jackson State volleyball looks to improve on their current four-game win streak, and remain undefeated in SWAC play in the 2021 fall season. The program has an overall record of 4-10.

There will be a thirty-minute break between matches, and the schedule for the weekend can be found below.

Saturday Matches:

9am - TSU vs. JSU

11am- GSU vs. MVSU

1pm- UAPB vs. AAMU

3pm- TSU vs. MVSU

5pm- GSU vs. AAMU

7pm- UAPB vs. JSU
 

Sunday Matches:

9am-TSU vs. AAMU

11am- UAPB vs. MVSU

1pm- GSU vs. JSU
