DOUGLASVILLE, Ga.– The Jackson State bowling team posted the highest pin total on day one of the TNBA/HBCU Invitational Tournament Friday at Southern Lanes.
Jackson State totaled 4,498 pins on day one, posting a pair of wins over Alabama A&M and Shaw. The Lady Tigers posted the two highest single-match pin totals of the day, with games of 977 and 957 in the Baker format. Alabama State was second (4,382), Norfolk State third (4,311), and Alabama A&M fourth (4,184) among the nine-team field.
Saturday's action is scheduled to begin at 8:35 a.m. CT in the traditional team format.
