JACKSON, Miss.| Jackson State University released its 2025-26 women's basketball schedule Thursday morning. The schedule features 12 non-conference matchups and four home games in November.

The Tigers finished the 2024-25 season with a 16-15 overall record and a 13-5 mark in SWAC play. In her first season as head coach, Margaret Richards led JSU to a semifinal appearance in the SWAC Tournament.

This season, Jackson State will open its campaign at home against Mississippi University for Women (Nov. 3), followed by another home matchup versus Tennessee Tech (Nov. 7) at the Lee E. Williams Athletics and Assembly Center. The Tigers will then visit in-state opponent Mississippi State (Nov. 13) before returning home.

JSU will host Mercer (Nov. 19) and Arkansas State (Nov. 23) at the AAC. The Tigers will then travel to Conway, S.C., for tournament action against Gardner-Webb (Nov. 28) and Coastal Carolina (Nov. 29). Jackson State continues its road swing with stops at Arkansas (Dec. 7), Alabama (Dec. 14), Illinois (Dec. 19), Purdue (Dec. 21), and Auburn (Dec. 29) to close out non-conference play.

The Tigers will tip off conference action at home against Alcorn State (Jan. 3). JSU then heads to Alabama A&M (Jan. 8) and Alabama State (Jan. 10) before returning home to host Texas Southern (Jan. 15) and Prairie View A&M (Jan. 18). Road contests at Florida A&M (Jan. 22) and Bethune-Cookman (Jan. 24) follow.

JSU will host Southern (Jan. 29) and Grambling State (Jan. 31), then travel to Arkansas-Pine Bluff (Feb. 5) and Mississippi Valley State (Feb. 7). The Tigers return home to face Bethune-Cookman (Feb. 12) and Florida A&M (Feb. 14).

Jackson State opens a three-game road stretch at Alcorn State (Feb. 21), Prairie View A&M (Feb. 26), and Texas Southern (Mar. 3). The Tigers will then close out the regular season at home against Arkansas-Pine Bluff (Mar. 3) and Mississippi Valley State (Mar. 5) at the AAC.

The 2026 SWAC Basketball Tournament is scheduled for March 9–14 at the Gateway Center in Atlanta, Ga.
