Box Score JACKSON, Miss.| The Jackson State volleyball team delivered a statement win over Bethune-Cookman at the Lee E. Williams Athletics and Assembly Center Friday night. After dropping the first set, the Tigers stormed back to defeat the Wildcats 3-1 (26–28, 27–25, 25–18, 25–11).

- After an intense opening frame that saw 14 ties, Jackson State fell 28–26 in a tightly contested set before regaining control behind a balanced attack led by Hope Briggs and Jayden James.
- James led all players with 16 kills and four aces
- James, Briggs and Gilbert combined for nine kills.
- Dove opened set two with a service ace and later set up Briggs for consecutive kills that sparked a 4–0 start.
- The Tigers maintained their composure through 10 ties, pulling away behind Carter's timely serving and Gilbert's late block assist.
- Briggs delivered the clinching kill at 27–25 to even the match.
- Robinson and Briggs led the offense, while James served two straight aces during a 5–0 JSU run that made it 14–8.
- Dove and Gadis distributed efficiently, setting up all three front-row attackers to hit above .300.
- JSU cruised to a 25–18 win to take a 2–1 lead in set three.
- Jackson State closed the door emphatically, hitting a blistering .591 in the fourth set.
