JACKSON, Miss. | The Tigers earned their first win of the season against Xavier (La.) at home on Friday afternoon with a 4-0 victory.

The Tigers started the day winning the doubles point. The duo of Paula Corbalan and Zeina Shaaban won their doubles match 6-3 at number one, followed by Zofia Dziewiecka and Daniella Tovar's 6-2 win on court three. The women continued their dominant performance by sweeping all six of their opponents in singles competition, with  Isabella Benavides winning her match 6-1, 6-0, Kayleigh Didderiens earning a 6-3, 6-2 victory, and Chiara Desia defeating her opponent 6-1, 6-2.
