JACKSON, Miss. | Jackson State released the 2025-26 women's tennis schedule on Thursday afternoon, with the Lady Tigers set to compete in three fall tournaments, two SWAC Pods and 25 total matches in the regular season.
"We're very motivated heading into this season," said head coach
Hernan Geria. "Our goal is to remain at the top of the conference, and we know there's work to be done. We have a lot of new talent that I want to see compete. We're confident these student-athletes will elevate JSU tennis to new heights and put us in strong contention for championships."
The Lady Tigers are coming off back-to-back regular season championships, winning 14 matches each of the last two seasons.
Hernan Geria will enter his third season as head coach.
Pablo Geria also enters his third season with the Tigers as the assistant coach and strength and conditioning coach.
The Lady Tigers open their fall season in Clinton, Miss., at the Mississippi College Fall Invitational from Sept. 12-13, then go to Atlanta for the HBCU National Tournament the following weekend. In October, Jackson State competes in the SWAC Fall Tournament, with the winner advancing to the ITA Masters.
