NATCHITOCHES, La. | Jackson State dropped a 6-1 neutral site match to Lamar at the Jack Fisher Lady Demon Complex on Wednesday afternoon.

After dropping the singles point and extending a pair of matches into three sets, Jackson State (0-2) picked up its lone point at number four singles when Isabella Benavides picked up a 5-7, 6-3, 10-5 victory.

The Tigers extended two other matches into three sets including at number two where Victoria Linkovski dropped a 4-6, 6-2, 7-6 (6) match to Lera Zaginayko. Meanwhile, at number one singles, Arina Gudovskaya defeated Paula Corbalan 2-6, 6-2, 6-1.
