Box Score JACKSON, Miss. | Jackson State women's tennis fell to the Austin Peay Lady Governors at home on Thursday afternoon.
Despite a hard-fought effort by all three doubles teams, Austin Peay clinched the doubles point with a tight 7-5 victory over
Paula Corbalan and
Isabella Benavides.
In singles play, three Lady Tigers pushed their matches to three sets. Benavides bounced back from a 6-3 loss in the first set to win the second set in a 6-1 decision. Corbalan and
Polina Georgieva also pushed their respective sets to three before the Lady Governors clinched their fourth point.
