The Jackson State women's basketball team completes a three-game road swing Saturday at Grambling State. The match-up is scheduled for 3 p.m. at the Fredrick C. Hobdy Assembly Center.

Junior and preseason All-SWAC preseason selection Marneisha Hamer has been a consistent force, especially in front of the basket. The Memphis native is averaging 14.6 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. At Texas Southern, Hamer scored 11 points and grabbed a game-high 13 rebounds to complete the double-double.
 
Backcourt Brings the Coasts Together
 
The tandem of senior Christina Ellis and junior Kaisah Lucky provides a nice one-two punch for the Lady Tigers. Ellis, a native of San Diego averages 10.7 points and 3.1 rebounds per game. Lucky, who hails from Brooklyn, New York is a calming force at point guard. Lucky averages 8.1 points and 4.4 rebounds per game.
 
Mitchell Behind the Arc
 
Sophomore D'Asia Mitchell is the Lady Tigers' go-to three-point shooter, The Natchez native is converting 34.5 percent (34-of-95) of her attempts behind the arc and posts an average of 7.1 points per game.
