Â
1000-Point Club
Â
JSU senior forward
Marneisha Hamer made history earlier this month at Indiana and joined the 1000-point club. The Memphis native tallied 12 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for her first double-double of the season and secured point 1000 on a second-chance opportunity in front of the basket.
Â
Offense Looks to Click
Â
Last season the Lady Tigers ran opponents out of gym – literally. The Blue and White averaged 72.9 points per game and coupled that with a defense that allowed 64.1 points per game, made JSU a very difficult out. With
Sumer Williams, Hamer and Lucky returning, the addition of Williams and several newcomers, the offense looks to take a step forward.
