BIRMINGHAM, Ala.| Three Tigers recieved SWAC Weekly Honors after adding another win to the column over the weekend.

The SWAC Player of the Week, Rhema Pegues shined for the Tigers scoring in double figures against Coastal Carolina and Gardner-Webb. Pegues registered 16 points and seven rebounds against CCU, and another 17 points, six rebounds, and four assists against Gardner-Webb.

Mikayla Brown was tabbed SWAC Newcomer of the Week after two double figure scoring performance and an unstoppable defensive showing. Brown recorded 14 points and seven rebounds against Coastal Carolina and 13 points and eight rebounds against Gardner-Webb. 

Leianya Massenat earned Impact Player of the Week honors after helping the Tigers to a win over Gardner-Webb. Massenat scored 17 points in the win and added six rebounds and four assists to her stat line.

The Tigers are set to travel to Fayetteville to take on Arkansas on Sunday afternoon. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m.
