JACKSON, Miss. - The Jackson State Lady Tigers basketball program announced Friday morning that the program will open the season this Sunday, Nov. 29, on the road at No. 6 ranked Mississippi State.

Unfortunately, due to the short turnaround, no fans will be allowed and the game will not be streamed. Radio broadcast WILL be available.

The Lady Tigers open the season after finishing the 2019-20 season 19-10 overall and the regular season SWAC Champions. Mississippi State is coming off of a season in which they finished 27-6 and 13-3 in the Southeastern Conference. 

The two teams met last season on Nov. 21, 2019 on the campus of Jackson State in which the Lady Bulldogs defeated JSU by a final score of 92-53.

The Lady Tigers and Lady Bulldogs are scheduled to tip-off this Sunday at 3 p.m. C.T. at Humphrey Coliseum in Starkville, Miss. The game will be broadcasted live on the radio on the MSU Radio Network. Fans will not be in attendance for the game.
