Both programs impressed at the Birmingham CrossPlex with outstanding performances. Seven Tigers placed first place on day one.
Chris Felix ran a collegiate best in 2021 with a 6.73 60m time. His mark also ranks
ninth in the world currently.

On Saturday,
Hannah White finished in first place with a shot put distance of 13.96m. It was the second time in two days that White placed first overall. She also placed fifth overall in the weight throw with a distance of 14.6m.

Jackson State returns to action next weekend for the KSM Invitational in Birmingham, Ala. The two day event (Jan. 23-24) will be held at the Birmingham CrossPlex.
