Soccer Continues Its Road Run at Northwestern State

NATCHITOCHES, La.| The Jackson State University women's soccer team is set to hit the road for a matchup with Northwestern State University tomorrow at 7 p.m. at the Lady Demons Soccer Complex.

Jackson State (1-5) seeks to continue its road trip after coming off a 1-0 loss at Nicholls State Sunday afternoon. Fourteen players have attempted at least one of Jackson State's 56 shots in the first six matches. Junior, Kendyl Terrell, is currently ranked seventh in game-winning goals in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC).

Northwestern State (2-1-1) opened its season with a victory over Louisiana Tech in Ruston. The Demons ended their second match in a 1-1 tied at Arkansas State. NSU continued its road run at #15 SMU recording its first loss of the season, 1-0. The Demons faced off with Grambling State ending in a 5-1 victory. Northwestern State returns home tomorrow to host Jackson State.
