JACKSON, Miss. | Jackson State will face Alabama State in a series for the second time this season, hosting the Hornets at Braddy Field for a four-game series beginning Thursday night.

The two teams will make up one of the games lost to rain earlier this season in Montgomery during the series, and the series starts at 6 p.m. on Thursday. April 18.

Jackson State (24-11, 8-6 SWAC) has won four of its last five games including three wins in conference play. The Tigers won the final game of their series on the road against Bethune-Cookman before winning the series over Alabama A&M this past weekend. Meanwhile, Alabama State (16-18, 7-7 SWAC) sits one game back of Jackson State in the conference standings and enters after dropping back-to-back games.

The two last met in Montgomery on March 16, 2024, when Jackson State swept a doubleheader winning game one 14-10 and game two 4-2.
