PINE BLUFF, Ark. | Myles White led a Jackson State offense that scored double-digit runs in a 14-4 run-rule victory over UAPB in a non-conference contest at Torii Hunter Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.

Jackson State (20-8) pounded out 14 hits in the win led by White who finished 4-for-4 at the plate with three runs scored and a pair of RBI.
Hasan Standifer finished 2-for-3 with three RBI and
Jordan McCladdie went 2-for-6 with three runs scored and a stolen base.

After falling behind early, the Tigers scored a combined 12 runs over the final four innings to pull away for the eight-inning victory. Jackson State scored three runs in each of the last four innings of the game, holding UAPB (11-18) to a single run in the seventh.

Miles Thomas (1-0), the third of six pitchers used on the day for the Tigers, worked 2.0 innings and allowed just one hit with three strikeouts. The six pitchers combined to hold UAPB to just six hits and struck out seven.

How It Happened
- (T1) McCladdie scored on a wild pitch, Jackson State 1-0.
- (B1) Carlos Rodriguez singled to right to drive in a pair of runs to give the Golden Lions the lead before scoring on a wild pitch, UAPB 3-1.
- (T2) White singled to center to drive in Ledy Alvarez, UAPB 3-2.
- (T5) Standifer singled to center to score White before Joseph Eichelberger reached on an error allowing Rodney Hibler Jr. and McCladdie to score, Jackson State 5-3.
- (T6) White scored on a balk before McCladdie scored on the second balk of the inning. The inning continued when Lenny Montesano drove in a run with a sacrifice fly to left, Jackson State 8-3.
- (T7) Robert Tate Jr. scored on a wild pitch before Standifer singled to center to score Hederick Torres. The Tigers added another run on a McCladdie bunt that brought in White, Jackson State 11-3.
- (B7) Edwin DeLaCruz singled to left to score G Terry, Jackson State 11-4.
- (T8) Sebastian Cabeza singled to left to score Montesano before White drew a bases-loaded walk to score Tate. The Tigers used a sacrifice fly by Standifer to score Alvarez, Jackson State 14-4.
