JACKSON, Miss.| Jackson State head women's basketball coach, Margaret Richards released the 2024-25 basketball schedule Monday afternoon. The Tigers schedule includes nine non-conference match ups and a tournament in late November.
 
Jackson State concluded the 2023-24 season 26-7 overall and a perfect 18-0 in conference play. The Tigers notched its fifth consecutive SWAC Regular Season Championship and went on to claim the 2024 SWAC Tournament title. The Tigers closed out the season facing UConn in the NCAA Tournament.
 
This season, Jackson State will open its campaign on the road at Clemson (Nov. 4), followed by a match-up at East Tennessee State (Nov. 9) in Johnson City. Tenn. The Tigers will continue its stint in Tennessee with a visit to Tennessee Tech (Nov. 14).
 
JSU will return to Mississippi to take on Ole Miss (Nov. 18) in Oxford. The Tigers are set to take on Green Wave (Nov. 24) at Tulane, then open play in the University of South Carolina Upstate tournament (Nov. 29-30. JSU will face Arkansas State (Dec. 7), Minnesota (Dec. 11(, and Mercer (Dec. 19). The Tigers' last non-conference campaign concludes with a meeting at Missouri (Dec. 29).
 
The defending SWAC Champions will tip off open conference play at Alcorn State (Jan. 4). The Tigers will host its home opener at the Lee E. Williams Athletics and Assembly Center against Alabama A&M (Jan. 9) and Alabama State (Jan. 11). JSU will open its Texas swing with Texas Southern (Jan. 16) and close out with Prairie View A&M (Jan. 18).
 
Jackson State will host Florida A&M (Jan. 23) and Bethune-Cookman (Jan. 25) before getting back on the road to face Southern (Jan. 30) and Grambling State (Feb. 1). The Tigers will host Arkansas-Pine Bluff (Feb. 6) and Mississippi Valley State (Feb. 8) before traveling to Florida to take on Bethune-Cookman (Feb. 13) and Florida A&M (Feb. 14).
 
JSU will host Alcorn State (Feb. 22), Prairie View A&M (Feb. 27), and Texas Southern (Mar. 1). The Tigers will close out the regular season on the road at Arkansas Pine-Bluff (Mar. 6) and Mississippi Valley State (Mar. 8).
 
The 2025 SWAC Basketball Tournament will take place March 11-14 in Atlanta, Ga.
