Cal Baptist Edges Jackson State

JACKSON – California Baptist defeated Jackson State 4-0 Thursday evening in non-conference action. Due to the heavy rain the match was moved to Belhaven University.

All three goalkeepers on the roster saw significant action. Faith Toennies made the start in goal and made two saves. Bianca Clemente started the second half and made a pair of stops and Rachyl Robles played the final 25 minutes and made a match-high four saves.

Azalia Jones, Brittany Williams, Nadia Hernandez, and Alexis Henriquez each recorded a shot attempt.

The Tigers return to the pitch Sunday at Northwestern State.
