JACKSON, Miss. - The Jackson State soccer team is set for another home matchup tomorrow afternoon with Texas Southern beginning at 1 p.m.
The Tigers are coming off of a 1-0 loss to the Prairie View A&M Panthers in what was a wet and soggy contest on grass due to heavy rains during the game.
The Blue and White enter the match with an overall record of 1-11 and 1-3 in SWAC play while Texas Southern comes in to town with a record of 3-7-1 and a conference record of 2-1-1.
Conference wins for TSU include a 5-0 win over Alcorn State and a 2-0 win to Mississippi Valley State at the end of September.
Texas Southern is led by Desiree Harti who leads the team with three total goals on the season on 16 shots.
Jada MacLean and Mia Marshall follow behind her with two goals a piece.
TSU is coached by Head Coach Lindsay Vera and assisted by coaches Will Clark, Courtney Murdoch, and Ryan Gilbreath.
