PREVIEW: Tigers Head to Jonesboro For Matchup With Arkansas State

JACKSON, Miss. - The Jackson State Lady Tigers are coming off of three straight matchups in which they fell to the likes of Troy University, South Alabama, and Southeastern Louisiana. 

With those games now in the past, the young team now turns it's attention to the Arkansas State Lady Red Wolves for a Thursday afternoon matchup in Jonesboro, Arkansas for a chance to get back on to the winning track. 

The Lady Red Wolves enter the contest with an overall record of 2-1 on the season with wins over Kansas State and Central Arkansas by scores of 2-1 and 3-1.

ASU's lone loss comes at the hands of Tennessee-Martin in which they fell 3-1 back on August 22 to begin the season. 

Several ASU players have notched goals through the season with Sarah Sodoma, Haley Husted, Riley Minard, and Abigail Glockzin each earning a goal. 

That Lady Red Wolves are coming off of a season in which they finished the season with an overall record of 8-7-3 and 5-5 in the Sun Belt. 

The team is coached by Brian Dooley who begins his fourth season as the head coach of the Arkansas State women's soccer program.

The two teams will square off tomorrow afternoon beginning at 3:00 p.m. at Arkansas State for the first meeting between the two teams.
